A faster, agent-ready alternative to Reservio for small shops.
Reservio is the Central European market leader for booking. Bookio by whatcanido is roughly half the price, sets up in five minutes instead of an afternoon, and ships agent-callable through the whatcanido MCP server out of the box — Reservio requires Partner API credentials and manual integration to be reachable by AI assistants.

Questions teams ask before switching.
Should I switch from Reservio to Bookio?
If your Reservio bookings, customers, and brand are well-established, the switching cost is real and the answer is usually no — keep Reservio and use the whatcanido Reservio executor to add the AI agent layer on top without migrating. If you're new to online booking or rebuilding your stack, Bookio is the right starting point.
Can I migrate Reservio data to Bookio?
Partial. Reservio exports services, staff, and the booking history as CSV from each business's admin. Bookio imports services and staff cleanly; booking history is imported as historical bookings (read-only) for analytics. Customer files with loyalty balances need manual mapping since Bookio doesn't have loyalty as a first-class feature.
Why is Bookio roughly half the price?
Two reasons. (1) Bookio focuses on the core booking workflow and lets the rest of the stack (CRM by whatcanido for customers + invoices, LeadKit for non-booking inquiries) handle adjacent surfaces, so the product is narrower and cheaper to operate. (2) The shared kernel across whatcanido products means we amortise platform costs (auth, infra, AI agent surface, billing) across the customer base.
What about Reservio's local-language support?
Reservio has strong Czech, Slovak, German, and Hungarian support — both in the product UI and in customer support — that Bookio currently does not match. If your customer base is non-English and you depend on local-language booking flows, Reservio is the safer choice today.
Does Bookio integrate with Reservio?
Yes via the whatcanido Reservio executor. If you stay on Reservio for your calendar but want the AI agent layer, the executor brokers between the whatcanido MCP server and your Reservio business via Reservio's Partner API. Customers book through Claude or ChatGPT, the booking lands in Reservio's calendar.
